Business with Ruby on Rails

I've been working with Ruby on Rails now since May 2005 and have enjoyed the growth it's seen since the early days. I've had the opportunity to watch as the language matured from a single minded framework which completely excluded other opinions such as using jQuery as a JavaScript library (you could do this, but Rails natively slanted towards Scriptaculous) to one that is moving towards a pick-as-you-choose framework in every respect, allowing complete freedom of choice.

I really enjoy launching the technology projects I have come to grow, most of which employ the Rails framework, all of which in some way shape or form involve the internet.

This blog is a tribute to the business insight I've gained over my years (and to the years to come) in this online industry and the jewels I am able to summarize in order to share with those of you seeking to further deepen your own understanding. You can expect insights in Project Management, Technical Architecture, Usability, Art Direction and Graphic Design, Photography, Analytics, System Administration, and well pretty much anything is fair game in this industry, as I have almost certainly dabbled with it in some form or another.
